Players love this relaxing word game that combines Scrabble with an incremental debt-payoff mechanic, praising its chill atmosphere, addictive gameplay loop, and satisfying progression systems. However, some report game-breaking bugs like disappearing boards that detract from the experience, though the developer appears responsive to issues. The game presents a genuine challenge for non-native English speakers, which some see as rewarding practice while others find it frustrating.
Well, I wanted to give this one a try because it looked low-pressure. With no timers, no rush, just me and some tile letters trying to pay off an insane debt of 1,000,000,000. How much even is that? A billion? Holy frekklesticks… And for some reason, I now have the Austin Powers evil dude with the pink in the corner of his mouth in my mind. Hmm. Anywho. Review. Game. Digressing! While I have heard of Scrabble before, I know it’s a game with letters, scores, and putting them down on a board. And that’s about it. And I was drawn to this game. Against my better judgment, since English is not my main language, and what I do know is all self-study. Which means the game doesn’t come without a challenge for me. There are a lot of words I know, but there are also a lot of words I don’t know. Sadly, there is no accessibility option or help for people who aren’t very strong in English. So that’s something to keep in mind if you’re interested in this game. I was also taken by surprise a few times. Seeing how big the skill/upgrade tree was made my jaw drop, but at the same time, it’s also a true game-changer. What started off a little slow and struggle-ish for me soon turned into, " Hey, I’m…13 found this helpful
Scrabble but now you owe a crushing amount of money to the bank. Loved trying to increase combos and taking out higher and higher loans on the bankmart to make it near impossible that I will ever dig myself out of the crushing debt. Extremely chill time killer and an absolute joy to play5 found this helpful
A lovely cozy scrabble game with a fun twist. Also a stark reminder I need to learn to words better. Also swear words are a thing. 10/10 love it3 found this helpful
I really enjoy this game. Peaceful, chill, relaxing, addictive. It is a new release so of course there are a few small hiccups but the dev seems to be proactive about working on them.2 found this helpful
Fantastic way to make Scrabble into an incremental game. Really enjoyable and relaxing. Bugs (some game breaking) stop me from recommending it. Had back to back games where the board just disappears. Will check for updates.1 found this helpful
This game is super relaxing and great for unwinding after a long day. I can literally sit here making words watching my debt going down for hours without realizing the time has passed. Highly recommend for anyone who likes word games, upgrade trees, and watching the numbers go up.1 found this helpful
