More than a roguelikeExplore various game modes: roguelike, time rush, jar puzzle and daily challenges.Cozy & relaxingSit back, grab a hot drink, and spell your way to victory while listening to chill music made by TrevronInteract how you wantPlay with mouse, keyboard, touchscreen or controller. After Dashpong, Hyperslice and many action oriented jam games, I wanted to work on something more chill. I've been thinking about creating a word game for a while, and I'm super happy to explore a new direction with Lexispell. The goal is to make a small and cozy word game that can also be challenging for avid gamers. I'm making this alone, with help from Trevron for the music, so don't hesitate to share and wishlist Lexispell!I hope you'll enjoy :) - EliptikDLC & expansions

I really, really wish I could recommend this, but unfortunately I just can't. To start with the positive: the game is oozing with game juice. It's got very satisfying sound and visual effects, it's very soothing and looks super clean. A+ job to the dev in this department. Unfortunateöy where it kind of falls apart for me is in the gameplay itself. The inspiration from Balatro just feels too clear. There's a lot of mechanics taken straight from that game that don't really benefit this one. Then there's small things that are frustrating in this game itself, such as not being able to view or reorganize the letters in the cauldron. It's really hard to get an overview of your letters when they're all jumbled in the cauldron and can't be moved, leading to an annoying sensation of "I might have been able to spell a better word if only I could have had a better ovberview of what my letters were". I was really rooting for this one because it looks so charming (again, A+ job there), but sadly, it really isn't my spelling roguelike of choice.2 found this helpful
Let's me spell the n-word, and clit. 10/101 found this helpful
I like the game mechanics, the humor, and the presentation. Other word games with similar mechanics don't hit like this one does. Great job, devs!
Just 90 minutes in and I am hooked. Love the aesthetic and clean buttons. Only thing i could recommend is some more music variety.
Surprisingly fun considering its relatively simple concept. Would recommend if you love puzzle games and looking for something quick and fun with replayability all the while taking up minimal storage.
Great word game. Scrabble x Balatro
