GRANDFATHER is a fairly basic Unity asset flipped first person horror adventure, one of many hundreds, if not thousands of these glutting Steam. The "developer" paid for/pirated a few Unity asset store assets, arranged them haphazardly in a first person adventure game template, and submitted it to Valve as if they're real game developers. This is a (possibly autobiographical) interactive first person adventure/story about a Russian's worst nightmare... strict parents? I guess? You play an unemployed Russian guy living with his mother when she brings home your grandfather, who is very strict and mean to you. The entire thing is thankfully over in less than an hour, doesn't make a lot of sense unless you speak Russian, but does make the entirety of Steam slightly worse because it exists. So, the game might look better than you'd expect from an amateur project, but this is because it's partially or completely made up of stock assets, "borrowed" from asset stores and free asset websites. Very little in this game is truly the creation of the "developer", it's just a bunch of rearranged assets. Слишком короткая... Прошёл минут за 40 реального времени. Что ещё из минусов? Хрен его знает, как игру запаузить, или выйти. То есть пока игру не пройдёшь до конца, то выйти из неё не получится. Если только не выходить принудительно на рабочий стол и не закрывать окно с игрой. Вообще не удобно. Графическая составляющая: в целом картинка не плохая, довольно атмосферно передан быт обычных, рядовых жителей некой глубинки. Не плохо. Мало интерактива. Очень. Скудно и скучно. Сюжет: спойлерить не буду, но фантазии и бред деда, а так-же скримеры с ним, (аж целых ТРИ за всю игру), они не напугали, а позабавили! ))) Концовка тоже весьма повеселила! ))) Команда подошла к игре не как к хоррору, а как к некоему, короткометражном ситкому, некой юмореске! ) Но осадок такой, что игра была сделана топорно что-ли, на скорую руку, чтобы выпустить продукт как можно быстрее! Опять-же! Критика тут для того, чтобы разработчики прислушались, делали продукты ещё лучше! Надеюсь прислушаются! Оставлю в библиотеке! Буду просматривать, вдруг обновят, что-то добавят!
