About Grayscale Memories

Can a lonely spirit find where it belongs?
A story-based short 3D game with simple controls and multiple gameplays.
You can experience the story seamlessly while playing the game.
After finishing the main storyline, there are some more challenge levels for you to play.
The player can go through the game with 4 arrow keys on the keyboard with a single hand,
and relax without worrying about death and failure.

The game is not very long in playtime (demo is about 10 mins, full-version is about 45~60mins).
While developing, we avoided tiring and repetitive gameplay or text which is too long.
Suitable for those who don't have much time to play games and want a change of mood.

*This is NOT A HORROR GAME.

Grayscale Memories is barely a game, it's more an art exhibition that's been dumped on Steam, presumably because the local art galleries took out a restraining order on the "artists" who had no other choice but to pay Valve $100 to dump this on Steam. This is a collection of very simple minigames (probably made from horsing around with the deprecated "Fungus" construction kit addon for Unity) wrapped in a pretentious and annoying "THIS IS ART BECAUSE WE SAID SO THEREFORE THIS IS GOOD" wrapper, that, well, is really badly done. No wonder these guys couldn't make it in an art gallery. And that's not to say games can't be art, of course they can, but art is a product of exquisite craftsmanship meeting highly talented vision... which this has neither of. To put it another way, if the Mona Lisa was a stick figure scribbled in crayon, she wouldn't be hanging in the Louvre. This game is the game design equivalent of a stick figure scribbled in crayon. From a technical perspective, the game doesn't meet basic minimum requirements that most PC gamers expect as standard. There's no option to change the resolution and no useful graphics tweaks. There's no way to ensure this is runnin…

"Grayscale Memories is a truly special experience that tugs at the heartstrings while offering a unique gameplay journey. 🖤💭 Its grayscale aesthetic sets the mood perfectly, evoking a sense of nostalgia and introspection. The narrative is beautifully crafted, weaving together themes of love, loss, and personal growth in a way that resonates deeply. 📜💔 What sets this game apart is its ability to deliver emotional impact through gameplay mechanics. Solving puzzles isn't just about progressing; it's about unraveling the protagonist's story and discovering the layers of meaning behind each challenge. 🧩🤔 But beyond its emotional depth, Grayscale Memories shines with its attention to detail and atmospheric soundtrack, both of which immerse you fully in its world. 🎵🌌 In short, Grayscale Memories isn't just a game; it's a poignant journey that everyone should experience. 🌟 Whether you're a fan of puzzle games or narrative-driven experiences, this is a must-play title that will stay with you long after the credits roll. 🎮🌈"

A short and sweet game with a confusing story and repetitious gameplay. However, the first playthrough was fun, interesting, and enticing. A few rewarding puzzles and walking sim gameplay. Graphics: A really good looking game, with a style that speaks for itself. Audio: Decent overall, nothing fancy or too bad about it. Overall: Not worth full price, on sale if you're willing to pay for an hour of confusion, its worth it. Interesting game, wish there was more to it and the story was more fleshed out.

Good game but that one shifting around the piece puzzle needs to go they are the most lazy and tedious puzzle you can put in a game plus it breaks the flow of the game if you get stuck on it
