*Grim Tales: The Legacy Collector’s Edition*, developed by Elephant Games and published by BFG Entertainment, is a hidden object puzzle adventure that lays the groundwork for what would become a long-running and recognizable series. Even in this early installment, it demonstrates a clear understanding of the genre’s strengths—strong atmosphere, a mystery rooted in personal stakes, and a steady blend of exploration and puzzle-solving—while also revealing some of the rough edges that come with a formula still finding its balance. good game. enjoyed the story
Does not work on modern systems - attempted to use compatibility settings to no success
played it on my mom's iPad when I was a kid. I've tried other ones but, honestly? this is the only one I'd recommend. it's just so simple and pretty, I love curling up with a hot chocolate on snowy days and solving the puzzles.
Half the puzzles in this game don't make any sense and the bonus round plot didn't make any sense. Had to use the Hint and Skip buttons constantly. 2/10
This one was far less frustrating than the last one. We at least have a map to travel around with. It's just fine.
