I don't think I'm doing this right but god am I having a blast.

Very challenging, cramped space with enemies constantly following you and having to time your movemtns just right to get orbs that you throw towards machines that help you shoot and give you a small boost. I think the game overall is fun, needs some tweaks however, powerups you get from the machines are confusing, i dont know really what they do, they say they do blank + blank but all i notice is my gun shoots a little bit faster. Somewhere that explains what that really does would be great. As well, i have not found a way to heal, but havent some way to find healing throught would be helpful, i always die in the portion where the enemies are firing back at you, because with the pale green tint, their bullets are nearly invisible and i just start getting hit from all over by things i cannot even see. Paid upgrade shops should come more often, and you should be able to buy more than one thing imo. Just would make runs feel more purposefull, most i have been able to gather in own run was two gadgets, and they did not feel that helpful.

Guns&Sodas is one of those games where the title already tells me that things are probably going to get ridiculous, and thankfully the gameplay lives up to it. I play as the Chosen Can Hero while fighting through waves of armed enemies and trying to recover the legendary Primal Sodas. I liked how quickly the game gets into the action because it is clearly built around fast arcade fun rather than a complicated story. The shooting feels quick and energetic, with plenty of movement happening alongside the combat. I can dash around incoming attacks, fire different pistols and keep a combo going while trying to maintain control of the battlefield. I enjoyed the emphasis on movement because standing still is usually a bad idea. The Super Dash is especially useful when the screen starts filling with enemy fire, giving me a way to escape dangerous situations while keeping the action moving. The vending machines are a fun idea that gives the combat some extra strategy. I can activate them to provide cover and upgrade them to become more useful, while some of them can also provide gadgets that improve my attacks.
