I've had my eye on Hackshot for a long time now and finally got a chance to play. Like a slingshot but control gravity, mass, bounciness- if you have the points for it. It's a lot of fun- and gets better the further in you get as new mechanics keep opening up. Hackshot is an interesting hacking-themed puzzle game built on slingshot mechanics. The puzzle is in resource management and careful shot planning to beat a range of obstacles. It's thoughtful and fun. It's a puzzle game at heart but its hybrid nature will attract other players for sure. This game feels like a vertical pool game with depth turned to an extreme. Its hack-themed visuals are so on point with trying to achieve the perfect shot sequence. The gameplay feels precise, iterative and makes you experiment with tools. I would love to spend a lot of time with this game, I recommend it.1 found this helpful
