Get stuck on NAND. Refuse to read the schematics. Have 10 years of software engineering behind you. Feel like an absolute idiot. 10/10 will feel like a donkey again. (just buy the game its already good)

Really enjoyed this one. There’s a lot of satisfaction in figuring things out and finally getting something to work. Easy to lose track of time when playing. Definitely recommend!

I went to school for Computer Science, so I have an interest in Electrical Engineering, but absolutely no knowledge of it and no ability to read a schematic. I've played a few other games that have you build increasingly complex logic circuits, starting with like a NOT gate and working your way up to arithmetic and RAM (Turing Complete, for example). This game has you start with Positive and Negative semiconductors. So you build the NOT gate yourself, and then you proceed to build all the other logic gates. If you're like me, this is kind of brain-melting and even paradigm-shifting. And that's without even mentioning the fact that you're working in three dimensions instead of 2, which makes the spaghetti that much spaghettier. If you have no EE background, definitely look at the schematics. Once you have blueprints for the basic logic gates, you can focus on figuring out how to wire them together. Then, once you're a little more comfortable, you can go back and redesign the basic pieces and work your way back up. Each puzzle has a lot of built in replayability, because you get rated on the size, complexity, number of transistors, and speed of the chip. So if you're into …
