Haunted Stories is a captivating mix of horror and thriller.
Experience several exciting haunted stories, each telling its own independent storyline.
Each playable story contains its own secrets, game mechanics and puzzles to solve.

Haunted Stories:
Supermarket:
Experience the point of view of a thief who wants to rob a supermarket. He quickly realizes that something is wrong. Strange apparitions cause him to start having doubts... will he get out in one piece?
Western Town:
During the time of the wild west, a traveler wanted to rest in a town and spend a night. Once there, he notices that it is now a ghost town.
Is there a reason for this?
Creepy Forest:
A person visits his hunter friend in his forest cabin. However, it seems to be abandoned.
As he has begun the search for his friend, more and more questions have arisen.
What happened to the hunter?

Game Information:
There will be at least five standalone stories told until the final version, each containing multiple endings and many mysteries.
Each story has its own protagonist and is set in a different time.
Explore the open areas and look out for clues or traces to find out the true story.
The different locations and the different times of the events, also offer varied and exciting game mechanics.

I received this game for free from the developers to try out and play live. Unfortunately I cannot recommend this game in its current state (Alpha 0.5.7.0 version). This game will need SEVERAL revisions, upgrades and more testing before it is enjoyable to play. It was not scary at all and was quite humorous and janky to say the least. It had three stories available at time of review to play through: Fateful Heist, Western Ghost Town & From Hunter to Hunted. I managed to complete Western Ghost Town all the way through, but failed to complete the other two due to checkpoint issues throwing me back to the very beginning of the game upon death. The English translation is very poor and needs to be revisited. The character is voiced by what seems to be a robotic Google AI translation system and often makes pronunciation and inflection mistakes when reading some of the dialogue through some of the episodes. The controls are terrible, yet you can remap them. I found out the HARD WAY that some of the buttons you need to complete the puzzles (like the lock puzzle in Fateful Heist) wasn't even mapped to the keyboard! I had to do it manually myself. At this early stage and in the state that it's in (Badly in need of an editor, overly complicated puzzles, sounds like a voice synthesizer instead of an actor) I don't recommend paying for this. Never thought a game would scare me this much, there are 3 Storys out yet, more to come. Every story made me having goose bumps all over my body. Curious too see all the reaction vids on youtube, I bet 1000000$ no one can staz calm in this game. The first release had some issues, but its nice to see that the devs are rapidly fixing and improving the the game.3 found this helpful
This wasn't good at all, I can see it has the ground work for an interesting game but it's way too early to be on Steam. I played 2 of the 3 maps available and didn't finish either. The first map I couldn't finish due to not knowing how to finish the puzzles. The second, well most of it just didn't work and I just didn't know how to progress after exploring the whole town. Pros: + Does have one good scare in the first map + The spiders in the second map do have that creepy factor + Story for the first map was ok Cons: - The flash light mechanics are just stupid, just use normal mechanics like press "F" for on/off and have the flashlight in front at all times, it's much simpler that way - One of the jumpscares sound and "ghost" aren't synced - Voice acting is ok for the first map but is an AI voice in the second - Doors in the second map didn't work like they did in the first, you need to push through them not click on them - You should never have a objective called "explore the town" make it more specific because I explored that town and nothing happened - Item wheel is ALT... why? - No checkpoints so you've got one shot to complete a map or you have to restart - Once the spider…2 found this helpful
