Headlong Hunt

Headlong Hunt has a nice mix of sliding and block pushing. Puzzles are quite deductive, especially those involving grass. It's clear that a lot of effort has gone into the puzzle sequencing and branching. Overall a well-designed and criminally underrated puzzler

it's full of really cleverly designed puzzles, so i've been enjoying my time a lot! at about the halfway point the levels started to feel much snappier: it seemed to me that the difficulty took a backseat, to instead put a focus on the many ways the few elements the game introduced can be used creatively this made for some surprisingly quick, but also very fun and satisfying puzzle solving (though at the very end there were still some real challenges)

If you liked the original (free) Puzzlescript version on Itch.io, then you're going to love this. This commercial version comes with 113 levels and introduces several new mechanics, either in the form of new elements or by adding them onto elements that already existed in the free version. The mechanics are creatively utilised and combined to form a variety of puzzle levels. Things never once felt stale in the 11 hours of my playthrough. Just a highly enjoyable puzzle experience. As someone with extensive experience of playing puzzle games, I would say the difficulty hit the sweetspot of 'just nice'. For a reference point, I would say it's a bit harder than the free version, what with the increased number of levels and mechanics.

[i]I received a free key of the game.[/i] This is a really neat puzzle game. I'm not great at sokoban/block pushing, but the concept of this was different enough that it worked well for me. The little flavor text notes were cute, and I loved the animation/sounds of the creature running into walls. There were a good amount of puzzles but the mechanics were simple, and the combinations of some of the mechanics made for some neat and tricky puzzles! There are no hints and at times I was wishing there was a hint system, but I was able to solve most levels that I got stuck on after taking a break (or skipping the level and coming back).
