Lead the way of our guest in order to find the way out of the Hellevator. Find the newspapers to find the truth about each room and clear the way out of this place.Do not let them take you!

Unlike other 2D platformers based on puzzles, Hellevator's main mechanic is based upon death and possession. Can not cross a floor full of spikes? Just sacrifice yourself and posses the closests body nearby! You will have at your disposal a lot of characters with different on-death abilities for you to solve each puzzle.
It does not really hurt, I guess

There are many different rooms in this infernal hotel: from a mysterious garden to a haunted warehouse, going through a lot of different rooms. Each level is a brand new experience for you! What is this place?

Hellevator is a deadly place and so are the horrible creatures that work and live in it. Find the way to defeat the bosses that threaten your life, or they will haunt you for eternity.Someone is not happy with me being here...
The game is pretty decent

Puzzles
The puzzles get better the more you play. As you progress, the game adds new mechanics and ramps up the difficulty. There are also obstacles and bosses that make things even more interesting.
Story
At the beginning, the story isn’t super clear, but as you go further, it starts to come together. By the end, everything is explained in more detail, and honestly, the ending is pretty good.
Extras
There are also collectibles, which is a nice bonus. It’s great that the game gives you something extra to do instead of just focusing on the main puzzles. For people who enjoy exploring or going for 100% completion, it’s a cool addition.
Conclusion
The game isn’t super short. The game takes about 1–2 hours to fully complete and it’s really entertaining, especially for a free game. If you like platformers with puzzles, it’s definitely worth a try.1 found this helpful
it's great if you just want to jump on spikes a ton, maybe game journalists would love it.
Really fun platformer. The core death and soul transfer mechanic is really cool. The art and general aesthetic are fantastic. I had a really good time playing this one.
Hellevator is a classic example of a common phenomenon: good idea, poor execution.
fun free indie game if you want to spend an evening on a short game
I played this game on my YouTube channel! https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=K_maMkQHxGE&t=10s Hellevator is one of the most unique 2-D platformers that I have EVER played! The theme is so much fun. The music track is an absolute banger. And the gameplay is incredible. The story is simple but great. This game is just pure fun. And it's free! The quality of this game is insane. And it being free; makes it a MUST PLAY!
