About Heroes Against Time
Create the Perfect Team
Each ally has their own ability, event outcomes and synergies... However, draft carefully: because without knowing how to scale your team to victory, you'll end up as a snack for the bigger threats which lurk further within the woods...Snappy Runs, Deep Strategy
Beneath the quick pace is a layered roguelite system that rewards planning and adaptability.- Runs take only 10 minutes once mastered
- Build powerful scaling combos as your run unfolds
- New mechanics unlock over time
- Easy to learn, endlessly replayable
Map Navigation
Tread carefully, for the forest is fickle... and the fog will always follow. Every tile is a choice.- Prioritize the right tiles for your team's needs while knowing when to improvise
- Watch out for the creeping fog which closes in from the edge of the map
- Clever decision-making can make (or break!) your run
Easy to Learn, Hard to Master
Deceptively simple rules combine into a game that's both familiar and unique, full of secrets and challenges... do you believe you have what it takes to overcome the enchanted forest? What Steam players say

The game is too primitive even for the Steam Deck. It might be a good fit for smartphones, though.2 found this helpful
Took a chance on this one and I am glad I did! A very fun rougelite experience! The art style, soundtrack, and replayability hit all the sweet spots! Mostly wanting to write this as a thank you to the developer for a fun and well polished short but sweet adventure! Loved the characters and the overarching story with surprise events. Reccomend it if you enjoy fantasy team and resource management games with satisfying builds that is not too overcomplicated or impossible to scale! Well done :) Goblin Content Review: N/A 🔳 poor 🔳 good 🔳 great 🔳 fantastic 🔳 mindblowing I usually look for goblins in games, sadly this did not have any goblins. A bit disappointing as I can picture a perfect happy little goblin in the evil or 'other' set of characters! Maybe with an ability to randomly double rewards or steal stats from enemies like a proper rascal they can be! But besides that, I can sense the goblin vibes and energy in this fantatastical world and that is almost enough to meet my strict goblin quota! Keep making games please very fun!! Next time maybe we will see a goblin!!2 found this helpful
Incredibly addictive little game upd: criminally addictive
Fun bite size game. Runs are really fast and there are some very broken combos in the game.
Great little roguelike for small, bite-sized run and creating busted combos. Simple enough to pick up quickly, but plenty of depth and a good amount of differentiation between runs!
I wanted to like this and I do like the core concept but I don't think it has the sauce to keep me engaged. Largely anything but ruin tiles feel like a waste of time and doing any sort of scaling that doesnt involve using the ruins in some form feels like a waste. Scale off supplies of 4 or higher like the golem? Use the dungeon. Scale off of healing? Use the dungeon. Scale off of delaying the fog and have the rune guardian? Use the dungeon. I think it has the beginnings of a good concept and needs iteration, but with the dev saying that they won't be doing content updates I can't really recommend it.
