I feel, deliberately, that Hit It Back is both metaphor and metonymy the swing of a bat against the weight of social struggles faced by people in the Global South, especially in Brazil, but not only there. This game is an vivid breath of neighborhoods finding their voice, of characters who are music, and music that becomes dialogue. In the press of a single button, it’s striking to witness how endless possibilities unfold how competition, laced with luck, becomes the raw material of an experience that evokes victory.
