Dear god. This may be the single greatest game ever made. It has everything. Heists. A hog. EVERYTHING.

Hog Heist is a surprisingly entertaining arcade game because it turns stealing things from a museum into one big ridiculous sprint. I play as a thief trying to grab as much valuable stuff as possible while avoiding guards and police before getting back to my getaway truck. I liked the immediate premise because it gives the whole experience a playful sense of urgency. The stealing mechanic is where most of the fun comes from. I can grab almost anything in the environment, from artworks and dinosaur skeletons to much stranger objects. I enjoyed experimenting with what I could pick up because the game clearly wants me to treat the museum as a giant toy box rather than a carefully protected exhibition. The different museum areas also give me plenty to explore. I can move through prehistoric exhibits, space displays and science themed sections while searching for valuable objects. I liked that the environments are large enough to make route planning matter. I am constantly thinking about what is worth carrying and how quickly I can get back to safety. Its terrible in my opinion. When I tried to play the tutorial to understand how to play the game. The tutorial was so bad, that they made it impossible to complete or understand. That's not how you properly build a tutorial for a new comer. So the game is bad. I gave it a bad review. Next time fix that and actually it understandable, and easy to complete. Just saying.

A decent game with a very fun balancing mechanic. It is short with only two levels. Yet with the increasing difficulty, the longer you stay in the level, it creates a fun challenge to achieve a high score.
