seems pretty abandoned at this point.

6 years in the making, early access release 4 years ago. I had a copy when it was first came out. It feels like the same game, updates or lack there of, barely change a thing. still largely empty maps with long dead ends that lead nowhere. There are constant game breaking bugs, for example, you can have a giant tower enemy target and deal damage to you but you can be made unable to hurt them. Or a "Clear Monsters" quest in specified location but all the monsters that spawn are non interactable and stuck frozen in place. These issues, were present when i first picked up this game. These issues are still present. I dont think this game is ever gonna be completed...

Was really hyped for this game since it was first teased, followed it through release and to now. It just falls flat on what it was to deliver, granted it is still in early access so theres potential but at current state I would not buy it. Hoping it does improve and is fully flushed out by its release.

Could be a fun game, but the implementation of 'rogue like' is really bad. Not enough carry over of gear/stats ect, progression feels horrible, such as it is. Some real game breaking bugs, especially if you like to rebind keys. Some of the rebinds just flat out won't work, and others will get you stuck with a big 'hit rebind key' message stuck on screen that forces a reload to clear. I would love this game if it was less buggy, and you could just save anywhere and advance a character. I will never for the life of me understand why game developers don't offer perma death as an option with benefits, instead of forced on the player. p.s. Boss fights that lock you into a small space, with bosses that spam charge attacks that do more than half your hitpoints = bad, especially in a perma death game. Oh well, another game that could have been.

This is a really beautiful game. When i first played this in extreme beta there was barely anything to explore. Now there is so much to do and explore. I don't normally play games like this, but i invested because of how bright and vibrant everything looked. It's kind of like a cozy version of Dark Souls if that makes sense haha. The world is colourful and feels relaxing. the music is chilled. I actually find combat and the range of weapons quite fun. If you die, you start back from the beginning, but all of your actions in the world are saved. A gate for instance that you unlocked will now remain unlocked throughout each run. The guild system is an interesting idea. You keep track of various progression markers in game from the main menu, they unlock naturally as you help invest in the local towns and it's people. It will give you new starting points on the map, so you don't have to keep starting from the beginning. Message boards with requests from villagers, extra potions, things like that. It's still in EA, but i guarantee you can have fun with it in it's current state. There is supposed to be a brand new update coming soon. My only criticism is that the map needs a bit of work…
