Hot Slice: Lust Exposed

The gameplay is a big no from me; I wish the puzzle game was more traditional, as dodging the enemy is a huge pain in the rear, albeit a predictable one once you spend the necessary two minutes learning. Okay for the smut, and okay for the game, but way to short, even these smut games should take longer than fifteen minutes start to finish. The images are okay, not really very smutty, most would be called soft core. The game is pretty basic, you control a wheel on the bottom of the screen, and you try to bump the screen in such a way that the center area will be 'sliced' (hence the name of the game) revealing the image. In the middle is a cool looking little spider that is moving about and you don't want to to touch your line before it gets to the other side. Pretty easy, but oddly, it never seems to get any harder. Usually something like a second spider would show up, or the area shape might change, but every level seems to be identical. On the plus side, super easy to 100% the achievement. Yes, there is only one. Honestly, I give it a thumbs up only because it all works, but if this was a five star system, it would be a two, max. Probably one and a half. Considering how little effort was put in, they really could have doubled the number of levels with fifteen minutes work I am guessing. One very tepid thumb up.

Get it on sale, the base price is too much for a game that you can clear for 10 minutes with another 10 minutes or so of short video loops worth of "content".

The gameplay is simple and challenging at some points. The reward scenes are animated well. As it is right now it justifies the price but would always love to see improvement. Maybe the dev can add more scenes and more variety to the gameplay. I.e. More enemies at once. Also would be nice to expand the reward scene to fit the screen once unlocking. Played on steam deck it runs well.

Great game, amazing animations. Love the slice the blank image to reveal the spicy part that is hidden behind it. Definitely worth it, especially now that it's on sale (11/13/2024). I really hope they add more scenes and perhaps a difficulty option.
