Simultaneously a fitting end to this gonzo MGS parody trilogy thing and a more meaningful commentary on game development than The Beginner's Guide4 found this helpful
"I wanted to imitate him, I wanted to be him. But in the end, I was only being myself." I'm assuming if you're reading this review you that already played the last two games. And, what can I say? If you thought the last game went off the rails, this one flew straight into the abyss. The gameplay is more of the same of the last two games (which isn't a problem, it's an episodic game after all) and about as long as the last two. If you liked the last two games, it's worth playing to see to the end of the bizarre plot. The bundle is worth it on sale, and I assure you that you won't be disappointed.3 found this helpful
HUNDRED FIRES: The Rising of Red Star – Episode 3 serves as the final chapter in the stealth-action trilogy created by David Amado Fernández and published by Naili Studio. Built around infiltration mechanics, military tension, and narrative-driven progression, the game closes its story with a mission that feels more personal and emotionally charged than what came before. Instead of focusing entirely on explosive combat encounters, the experience leans heavily into calculated movement, observation, and tactical survival. The result is a game that values patience and planning above raw aggression. At the center of the story is Valero Montenegro, returning for one final assignment that carries consequences far beyond military objectives. His mission revolves around rescuing his daughter while confronting the larger forces responsible for the events that have unfolded throughout the trilogy. The narrative attempts to combine espionage themes with personal stakes, creating a storyline where emotional motivation becomes just as important as completing objectives. The game treats Montenegro less as an unstoppable soldier and more as an experienced operative forced into increasingly dange…2 found this helpful

"Mom can we have Metal Gear Solid?" "No honey, you have Metal Gear Solid at home." The Metal Gear Solid at home in question: This game. (Review of the previous games) Of course I've played the original Metal Gear Solid game, so I can appreciate what this one went for, the voice acting is laughably bad and peak schlock. Controls are sluggish and janky, par for the course for an indie attempt at an all time stealth classic. Pretty much, if Snake retired prematurely and called up his friend (or cousin) from Cuba to do the legend's work, this is the result. Now with all three done, it really got super absurd as all hell. Not much to do after beating the campaign, so wait til this is on sale at least. MGS Vets need not apply.
