Under A Star Long Cold

It's a stealth game with no reason to be stealthy. Gunfights are easy, I never died and your on a timer so you might as well run between landmarks for the loot.

For a game that costs about as much as a soda can it's pretty solid. I know Antonio has more games in his stealth action series, but this one was by far my favorite. I love the multiple ways to distract guards, keeping them at gun point and teleporting them away. The music is beautifully mysterious and the ps1 aesthetics are great. I wish there were more ways to make the guards move, like a decoy or maybe a base that sends out a false flag signal to get a patrol to come in. Maybe save states? I get the idea is to do it all in one go, but having the comfort of being able to save a few times might be nice. Anyways, good game.

Under A Star Long Cold takes a simple but compelling idea and turns it into a concentrated stealth-action experience where every minute matters. Thirty minutes sounds generous at first, but it becomes increasingly restrictive once exploration, enemy encounters, and searching for valuable loot begin consuming precious seconds. Every detour becomes a calculated risk. An unexplored location might contain exactly what you need, yet investigating it could leave insufficient time for something more profitable elsewhere. Pros: - Decent stealth/combat mechanics - Nice open environment - Challenging Rogue-like gameplay Cons: - Some Keyboard controls feel a tad bit awkward and cannot be changed Conclusion: Great 30 minute stealth game very much feeling like it was inspired by Metal Gear Solid V. Just wish I could change the keyboard bindings to make them feel more comfortable.

I can only recommend this game because of the price... Anything above $3 wound not be worth it... Personally, I don't mind the graphics at all, but it's pretty much Lara Croft - Triangle Mountains (if you know what I mean). The main challenge (to collect 50k in 30mins) is really tough or nearly impossible, though, which makes the game a bit frustrating... Also, the area is huge and you have to be quick which beats the purpose of using binoculars and tagging your enemies, which, btw, are completely retarded (otherwise, I guess, it would be really impossible to reach the goal), Moreover, you can't change the controls and they are not so comfortable for this type of game (yet bearable)... Honestly, based on other reviews I expected this game to be way more fun...
