I've been playing Idol Party ever since it launched on Steam, and it's easily one of my favorite online rhythm games. It immediately reminded me of Audition, but with its own unique charm. The gameplay is incredibly fun, with a great variety of rhythm modes that keep things feeling fresh whether you're a casual player or someone looking for a real challenge. The dreamy aesthetic is gorgeous, the avatar customization is fantastic, and collecting outfits and cosmetics is genuinely rewarding. One of the biggest reasons I've stuck with the game, though, is the community. I've made a lot of friends here, and the player base is one of the friendliest I've experienced in an online game. Most events are easy enough to understand, and if you ever get confused, people are usually happy to answer questions. The official Discord is also very active and full of helpful players. Like most free-to-play rhythm games, there are multiple currencies and optional microtransactions. However, I've always felt that Idol Party respects your time. If you play consistently, it's surprisingly generous with rewards, making it possible to earn plenty without feeling pressured to spend money. I've never felt…

Pros: I really like the song choices of this game, as they are not just community songs but pouplar normal songs. Cons: However, it must be my potato PC that the game client keeps crushing. I only use studio driver, so maybe this game is relying on some gforce experience optimization~ (I am joking here,lol) Wishes from my side: I hope the supported refrsh rate and resolution is higher. Playing it in window mode for 1080P on a 4K/240 screen is not really a pleasing experience. I also wish it can support higher keyboard/mouse polling rate. My input lag is close to 100ms here which is quite sub-optimal when you try to hit s-perfect on the note. I get it that the game is not a competitive game like dj-max, but should at least open up the support more for mordem PC hardware. Overall: I will only recommend it when they fix the client crashing issue. Until then, you should pick another game that is more mature.
