I can't in good faith recommend this version of the game. Not only is the PC version connected to the Mobile servers which you would think would be a good thing but its not, they should be seperate. but also the Trail mode was not fixed from the Demo it is almost un-playable even more so than the VOS mode in which none of the holds can you S.Perfect it's impossible to get ASP combos. But ontop of it being connected to the Mobile servers all of the YEARS of gacha eggs for clothing and Crews(Guilds) and everything else have already consumed the game. it looks like a total mess if a newer player were to come to the PC version. I wish I could recommend this version of the game cause I have fond memories of dance challenging people all the time on Mobile, the PC version was butchered and obviously just for more money as practically a cash grab unfortunately.

The game had a bit of a startup issue where items vanished from player's bags but the devs fixed it within a day and also sent out very generous compensation showing they truly care about player satisfaction. The items vanished had damaged my trust at first, but that showed me enough goodwill from the devs to stick with the game. I like this game. Fun rhythm games, lots of social activities, very lively friendly community. That is defo the benefit of sharing servers with mobile players. I saw some people complain about it, and yeah, while in terms of released items it's a lot, it's at least ensuring the game feels alive and probably will be so for a long time yet. The only issue is how botched trail mode still is. Something I already wrote in my review for the demo too. I really hope they can fix it because it's not really playable right now. This also means PC players miss out on rewards when trail mode is the mode for certain events. Feels bad. The game also could really use an option to rebind keys for the diff gameplay modes. An option to change screen resolutions. And a calibration option to ensure note timing is correct.

I was really looking forward to this game. But I'm disappointed. Steam is releasing this game as a new product, but for some reason, there are old players in the game. Additionally, all the clothes and items I purchased have disappeared from my bag. This is a waste of money. Don't throw money into the game

I've played the mobile version of Sweet Dance for a few years, so I was excited to finally see it come to PC. The gameplay is still fun, the character customization is adorable, and if you enjoy casual rhythm games with lots of social features, it's definitely worth trying. I'll probably be adding the PC version into my regular rotation since I play on my computer much more than on my tablet. That said, there are a few drawbacks. The biggest issue is that the PC version uses the same servers as mobile, but (as far as I can tell) doesn't allow you to transfer your existing mobile account. Starting over while playing alongside long-time mobile players is a little discouraging. There's also a noticeable gameplay disadvantage. Some note timings feel inconsistent, especially Trail Mode and even Bubble Mode, can feel stuttery or difficult to time accurately compared to mobile. Getting perfect scores feels like memorizing the song rather than simply reacting to the notes. New players should also expect a bit of a learning curve. Like many mobile games, there are a lot of menus, promotions, and currencies to sort through. The tutorial covers the basics, but it doesn't explain everyth…
