Immortal Hero

Immortal Hero is a non-English (Korean) third person shooter game made with the Unreal engine. Gameplay consists of shooting low poly fantasy enemies and bumbling around doing "quests" that seem to be a light ripoff of World of Warcraft, down to the yellow exclamation points. There's no English translation, but the language of bad games is universal. The quality here is extremely poor, not even the Unreal engine can save this one. Low poly art assets infest the game, looking either extremely lazy, asset flipped, or both. The game control is plodding and the character movement is bizarrely slow for an action game. The developers may never have played video games before... this is a third person shooter (mostly these games are aimed at console peasants), but instead of the typical over the shoulder, askew view, the character is viewed directly from behind. This makes it impossible to actually aim! What a joke. Your attacks, even the basic ones, are on a ridiculously long timer. This makes no sense from a game design perspective, and adds even further to the annoyances here. While this is free, it looks like someone's game design homework assignment, and the student failed…

Игра 'Immortal Hero' – это настоящий подарок для ценителей жанра roguelike/roguelite. С первых минут она затягивает своим динамичным геймплеем и глубокой системой прокачки. Каждый забег уникален благодаря процедурной генерации уровней и разнообразному набору врагов, что не дает заскучать даже после десятков часов. Оружие и способности ощущаются мощными и разнообразными, позволяя экспериментировать с различными стилями игры. Визуальный стиль игры притягивает внимание своей мрачной, но в то же время стильной эстетикой, а саундтрек отлично дополняет атмосферу. Конечно, как и в любом roguelike, бывают моменты фрустрации, когда рандом оказывается не на вашей стороне, но чувство удовлетворения от преодоления сложных испытаний и достижения новых рекордов перевешивает все невзгоды. Это игра, в которую хочется возвращаться снова и снова, открывая для себя новые секреты и оттачивая свои навыки.
