What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players consistently praise this incremental game as a fun, affordable experience that delivers solid entertainment in roughly 2-4 hours, with particular appreciation for its gameplay loop and minigame mechanics. However, the main criticism is that the skill progression system is poorly designed and unbalanced, creating an overpowered character state that trivializes challenges, and the game lacks depth with virtually all content unlocked well before reaching meaningful playtime, leaving little reason to continue playing after the initial run.
amazing game great for people who are bored of their selection of games and wanting something new
Very fun fast incremental game, wished it was even longer!
Buggy, not very fun, and badly implemented controls. -I had no hud on expeditions. It didn't impact me too much until I realized I warping, which was mentioned in achievements was never happening. I just hit every key on my keyboard until I found out it was space. -Mouse controls would be better if the mouse stuck to your ship. Since it lags an inch or two behind, the ship would never go near the edges of my screen and so I would miss a lot of pickups that the ship could shoot but not touch. Tried switching to wasd, but it didn't feel good to use. I can't speak to controller, which could be better. -Generally just not very fun and one of the least enjoyable progression games I've played, though quick for getting achievements if that's what you're after. --I did read about some folks having issues with achievements unlocking, but they all popped for me without an issue. -It is also not an idler as the tags indicate either. I suppose at a certain point you could switch to WASD, start an expedition, then just not move and collect whatever you collect.
good but not enough
Well thought out game. Yeah, it’s very simple, but what it does, it does right. Less than a cup of coffee, and worth every penny. On the Steam Deck, you can dial the TDP limit way down and complete the game on almost one charge.
