About INDUSTRIA 2

Years after the events of the prequel INDUSTRIA, Nora is stuck in a parallel dimension, far away from home. Trapped between machine-built walls, she survives alone in an abandoned chapel near the coast.

Just before she can evade the hostile parallel dimension and return home to 1989 East-Berlin, a chain of unforeseen consequences pull her back into the pulsating heart of the artificial intelligence ATLAS.

Nora soon comes to the realization that she cannot evade her past and must face the haunting responsibility that lies within it – her involvement in the creation of the uncontrollable A.I.

  • Immersive, slow paced gameplay: Physics-based interaction, crafting and a diegetic inventory ground the gameplay in the game environments
  • A hero's journey: A narrative FPS to its core, where you'll meet memorable characters and progress through a touching story
  • Unique setting: Industrial decay in a vast boreal nature meets otherworldly sprawling machine structures
  • Upgradable weapons: Upgrade five weapons with various attachments like silencers, extended magazines or special attacks
  • Robot body horror: Vivid machine oil spilling and body dismemberment lead to intense firefights
  • Compact Indie Experience: A 4-6 hour long filler free journey made by a passionate small indie team
  • Cinematic audio: Full voiceover, dynamic music and detailed sound design are merged together by real-time audio reflection through Wwise
  • Next-gen visuals: Carefully crafted assets are empowered by Unreal Engine 5's fully dynamic lighting engine Lumen

The first game was nothing ground breaking, but was enjoyable to explore. The sequel severely and painfully misses even that bar. I should have heeded the bad reviews but even on sale I can't justify it. The sequel is nothing like the original. The original explored an uncanny world, falling apart long after the robot takeover, with surreal, shifting environments. This game is a sad attempt to copy HalfLife 2 with a darker coat of paint. Right from the start it tries to be a horror/stealth game by dropping you in legally distinct Ravenholm with worse lighting. You are forced to run down invisible corridors worse than Final Fantasy 13. Outside and it looks open to walk? Too bad there's invisible walls forcing you down an invisible hallway. The NPC forced on you spouts poorly written exposition and sprints with the most unnatural run cycle I've seen in ages. Horridly outdated mechanics for opening anything. Having to click and drag to open every door, closet, drawer, etc in a game that requires you to check everything for supplies is immediately annoying. Enemies will 2-hit you on normal and that's if you're lucky enough not to be dropped out the bottom of the map when hit and force…

Demo - super impressed, thought they would make the blind enemy more difficult/scary/punishing for making noise actual game - good but disappointed, some parts look unfinished. like, clipping i dont mind, i can ignore that but there where what looked like pipes, they where just cylinders placed wonky and looked so out of place. audio cuts out in places, and the sprinting pisses me off so, when you run out of stamina, the whole screen goes grey and you cant turn it off even on the hard difficulty i found it too easy

Play INDUSTRIA first before you play Part 2! If you're looking for a slower-paced experience with an engaging story, these games deliver exactly that. I highly recommend playing the first game before starting the second so you can experience the story as one continuous journey. Industria 2 improves on the original in almost every way. It features more action, better visuals, a longer campaign, and a more fleshed-out story, all wrapped in an incredibly immersive atmosphere. As a German, I found the references to East Germany (the DDR) especially fascinating. The cold, bleak nature of the socialist setting fits ATLAS and its machines surprisingly well. If you're a fan of Half-Life, there's a very good chance you'll enjoy these games too. Overall, I really enjoyed both games. Thumbs up!

I liked the game even though I encountered small visual bugs. The story is very good, I'm waiting for Industria 3

Although the game is relatively okay, it was 100% rushed. Lots of visual/animation bugs, Placeholder objects, poor world building, meaningless and empty rooms and so much more. The suppressor for all weapons doesn't do anything, ALL enemies in the area will turn around and shoot you instantly after shooting. The story and VA are both "ok", nothing to write home about. the combat is a tad clunky, during melee combat you might get stuck in the grab animation while knocking down an enemy, or get hit after knocking down an enemy. Ranged combat feels good though. I had high hopes after having played the first game. This is the most "meh" game of the year ngl. I really hope they keep fixing it

Продолжение истории. Красиво, атмосферно, интересно но кривовато.
