About Inexplicable Geeks: Dawn of Just Us
Enter a world of superheroes. Kind of.
The 20th Anniversary of the Age of Super Geeks has hit, and as a mild-mannered reporter, it is your duty to head on down to the local convention center and get the big scoop! Only, you're probably the only reporter there, as a Super Geek isn't as flashy as a Super Hero. You see, the difference between the two is.... one can leap tall buildings in a single bound, and one.... can tie your shoelaces with just their mind.
So, yeah, it's not the most flashy job to chase.
We wouldn't be as bold as to say that it's like playing an interactive Christopher Guest film, but that's exactly what it is like.

A hilarious romp though a con filled with wacky heroes with wacky powers. Fantastic writing and amazing art. I had a blast chatting with each and every character. Definitely worth a few more playthoughs to get the full back story of this crazy cast.9 found this helpful
I really wanted to like this game and even had it on my wishlist. With some minor tweaks it's (my) worst point could be improved. Positive: The basic concept is quite cool, depending on your choices new dialogs are unlocked and the endings are choosen. Neutral / semi negative: In the first few moments you're intotruced to a lot of characters and their storys (more text). Partially these good-okay, some are not that interesting and the humor to try hard at some points. Negative: I tried to start a guide for this game and probably the reason why none exists: It's very hard to track your decisions that affect the ending. While during the talking phase you get to know the topic. For example talk with Dustin about All-Star but in the end you only get Dustin 1, 2, 5, ... for every piece of unlocked dialog. Some dialogs have to be avoided for certain endings but this system gives you no obvious clues, like 1 or 2 additional UI elements if it could have certain effects. If you don't want to choose them all or randomly your options only are to re-read and think for yourself if you want to choose them or not, which becomes just annoying if you do multiple playtrhoughs and t…3 found this helpful
https://youtu.be/zDMUMsS-Dpk Limited to using all new characters forces players onto the back foot with how much knowledge the game assumes you know. Dozens of characters are immediately introduced with little time to breath.1 found this helpful
