About Infinite Incantation
Infinite Incantation is a charming papercraft-style bullet heaven action roguelike that will test your spell-slinging skills as you tear through waves of enemies. To survive against the horde, you'll have the chance to roll the dice to procedurally mutate your spells into powerful evolutions, allowing you to take on even tougher challenges. Customize your character with RPG-like upgrades and stack your deck with the spells you'll randomly draw in runs. With fast-paced action, challenging bosses, and endless spell-crafting possibilities, Infinite Incantation is a must-play for fans of spell-casting, screen-filling, and goblin slaying action.

Infinite Incantation uses a robust component spell system that can combine elements, casting styles, and special effects in a variety of different ways. Stryx, your (totally friendly and charming) owl companion can convert the experience points you collect into powerful spells. Like a spell? Or even dislike it? Choose to randomly evolve it into something even stronger, whether through greater power or mutated attributes. The spell will randomly mutate into something even stronger and more wild. Who knows what kind of mayhem that'll ensue? There are hundreds of combinations you could need to adapt to on the fly.

This includes the character classes, starter weapons, and the items they obtain with each level, as well as special powerups that can either simplify or complicate the game for those seeking a greater challenge. Nevertheless, Infinite Incantation, despite being visually appealing and entertaining, often proves to be a rather unimpressive and challenging experience due to the poor combination of spells that the player is given through randomization. At the start of the game, you are given three random spells. As you level, these spells can be upgraded by mutations, either making them much more potent or entirely wrecking the combo, for example. quite underwhelming. the spell mutation being total* random makes the game loop quite boring and separated from player decision making. and no, the spells don't get stronger when you mutate. its not additive. there are like 2-3 stats active in most cases until you mutate and it becomes ♥♥♥♥ again. There is almost no point of wasting time when you know the whole match is heavily luck based. you late game strategy is always creating a vampire aoe build so you can sustain fights. you need around 200hp to comfortably buffer. the end game boss is comically boring. i think there is a memory leak somewhere in the ghost boss because the game slowly dropped to 2fps before finally stop spawning the mini guys and fps came back up (there wasn't more than 50 at that time.). If you want to give this game a shot, play few goblin matches, if it doesn't click, don't even bother to activate cheats to see what is possible. not much. random*: it rolls stat change ~2 times. then it rolls the cast shape.1 found this helpful
