About Inkwellers

Beware! The game requires both players to have microphones and a stable internet connection. Also this game works in co-op mode only. Both players must communicate effectively to navigate the challenges and solve the puzzles. The game takes 4-6 hours to complete!
When a mysterious client leaves an old, dusty journal under your shop's door, its powerful magic is impossible to ignore. As the Inkwellers, you and your partner dive into the worlds hidden within enchanted journals, working together to solve puzzles, overcome magical challenges, and find a way forward.

Beyond the journal’s pages awaits a world shaped by magic, mystery, and strange challenges. To move forward, you and your partner must rely on each other — sharing clues, connecting ideas, and solving puzzles together.
Features:
  • Co-op Gameplay: This game is designed exclusively for two players. You'll need to work together, combining your wits and skills to solve puzzles and progress through the story.
  • Look closely, share what you find, and work together to understand each challenge before putting the solution into action.
  • Immersive Experience: Communication is crucial. Speaking to each other and sharing discoveries will be key to solving puzzles and advancing in the game.

Can you and your partner solve the puzzles hidden within the journal and find your way back? Step into a magical world built for two, where communication, teamwork, and careful observation are the only way forward.

Was a decent co-op puzzle game but I have a few gripes that pushed me to a negative review. -Any puzzle that required an object to move was agonizingly slow so you spend a lot of time just waiting around. -One of the puzzles was completely broken (potions) so we had to restart which locked us out one of the achievements permanently because our note score is now incorrect seemingly forever. -Platforming was jank, and items would occasionally disappear when placed in the spots they were supposed to go. -If you want to tell a story, try to tell it through the gameplay and not 28 collectable paragraphs. Devs for sure have potential, this one just needed more time.

I really wanted to like this game. I liked chapters 1-6 but after that the puzzles didn't work or make sense. The story was ehh. I think there is still alot of work to be done to get it fully playable. Hints were the solutions. The music got annoying after a while. Started out fun but ended in disappointment.

TLDR: Not fun, only annoing. GLHF if you are colorblind like me :D Buggy game with a hint system that just gives the solutions. Puzzles that just takes time to move things around with timings, no skill just frustrating. Very unblanced when the players are split up in terms of what you can do. Music becomes repetitive after some time as well. Story is nothing to write home about.
