Alchemist: Journey of the Soul

I was pleasantly surprised by Alchemist: Journey of the Soul. Despite its shortcomings, I found myself enjoying the process of tracking down clues, collecting ingredients, learning new abilities, and gradually working my way through the alchemical transformation. It's cozy, cute, and easy to settle into, with an art style and soundtrack that give the world a welcoming atmosphere. But charm can only carry a game so far. The puzzles could benefit from greater variety and complexity, the interface needs some polish, and the occasional lack of direction can interrupt the flow of exploration. Performance issues and progression-breaking bugs are more serious concerns, particularly when the available “reset all items” button option doesn't seem capable of resolving them. Co-op, meanwhile, feels like an underdeveloped addition rather than a meaningful alternative to solo play. Still, there's a solid little adventure here. If you enjoy fantasy settings, gentle exploration, and escape-room-style puzzles that won't leave you tearing your hair out, Alchemist: Journey of the Soul could be right up your alley. Cute game. the storyline is good. If you like puzzles, this is a good one. little frustrating at times as its often not clear as to where to go or what to do. character could have a bit faster speed to get around. but over all, quite enjoyed figuuring out all the puzzles in the game. The storyline is good as well. finished it up in 5.4 hours.

Cute simple puzzle game. Completed in a bout 4 hrs. The world is very beautiful and immersive. Going to let me 6 year old try it out and see how it goes.
