Together in Forgotten Lands

I highly recommend this game, especially if you’re looking for something fun to play with friends or your partner. The puzzles are interesting and quite challenging, and the scenery is beautiful. However, I feel that the coloring and shading could be improved. The colors are quite strong, and sometimes they make me feel motion sick. Overall, I really enjoyed playing this game. The puzzles are fun, interesting, and challenging, which makes the game enjoyable to play with others 😊.

Even though co-op puzzle adventures aren't my usual go-to genre, the effort and creativity put into this game are fantastic. The communication-heavy puzzles, dynamic cave environment, and unique biome mechanics make it a great pick for duos who love games like We Were Here or It Takes Two. Definitely worth grabbing with a friend to support a talented indie team!

[b] Too many bugs [/b] In just the first room we got soft locked twice, once when one of the items just disappeared and second when one of us clipped through the rocks and got stuck in some water area. We also "solved" half the puzzles in the first room by climbing walls and walking across invisible geometry which were clearly unintentional. [b] Hide and seek and platforming [/b] Bugs and lack of enjoyment prevented us from experiencing beyond the first room so maybe the rest of the game is different but based on the first room, we didn't really feel like we were solving puzzles. It was more of a hide and seek and platforming experience. Examples from the first room: [list] [*] [spoiler]It's not obvious that one of the rocks needs to be pushed. It's arbitrary and inconsistent with the rest of the puzzle. [/spoiler] [*] [spoiler]It's difficult understanding what each lever does. I know there's some art on the floor but there aren't any audio or visual cues so we just toggled them repeatedly trying to figure out what was changing. Play was fun with unique challenges, from audio to visual. If possible, can they adjust how it ends? I loved the game, at almost all aspects, co-op with split screen was good. Still worth play with a good friend, ending can be overlooked but on first play through it can be a let down.

The game was fun and the art was pretty, there was a couple of glitches that made us have to restart an entire chapter. Puzzles were a good combination of difficulty levels. It would have been nice to have a hint option for each level however.
