About Inzo
Inzo is a puzzle-solving murder mystery where you climb towers, solve brain-teasers, and escape a nightmare world of absurdist humor alongside Geo, a reluctant everyman paired with an insufferable shapeshifting companion. This irreverent adventure blends witty dialogue, head-scratching puzzles, and intentionally uncomfortable comedy into a compact 3-4 hour experience that doesn't take itself seriously.
Play as Geo - a well-bearded man who wants absolutely nothing to do with any of this silliness. As the lone, quiet voice of reason in an increasingly nonsensical world, Geo will have to learn to rely on, or at least tolerate, Inzo - an ageless, bodyless being of great annoyance.
Features:
- 3-4 hours of puzzle solving gameplay!
- A great soundtrack of completely royalty-free music (please don't sue)!
- A story that walks the fine line between humor and discomfort!
- Terribly aged references!
- Bulleted lists!

What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players criticize Inzo as a low-effort RPG Maker asset flip with generic pixel art and an uninspired fan-fiction story that fails to make good use of the engine's capabilities. While some players appreciate the game's existence or find moments of entertainment, the consensus is that it suffers from poor quality construction, mediocre gameplay mechanics, and the typical shortcomings of hastily-assembled RPG Maker projects cluttering the Steam catalog.
RPG Maker strikes again! Inzo is one of hundreds of low effort retro-pixel RPG Maker asset/construction kit flips spamming the Steam catalog, made with the RPG Maker video game construction kit... in their own words, "Our easy to use tools are simple enough for a child." Like all RPG Maker "games", this is essentially a bunch of low quality/canned assets from RPG Maker coupled with a cringeworthy high school anime club fan fiction. Notably the developer here couldn't work out how to use RPG Maker to make an RPG... and that's the only thing RPG Maker can do properly... except it's not even very good for making RPGs. Instead, we have a mediocre 2D top down retro pixel puzzle/adventure game with all the bad qualities of the crap RPG Maker engine, the crap RPG Maker asset flipped assets, and predictably awful writing. As with all RPG Maker games, the poor quality engine displays badly in fullscreen and doesn't have full HD support or any graphics tweaking options, making this unacceptable for any dedicated modern PC gamer. The point can be made that the intention of RPG Maker is to make demos and small games to pass around friends, and shouldn't be used for "professional" game de…8 found this helpful
