About Iragon 18+

About the Game

We think the best way for us to explain this game is to tell you how we came up with this idea. Everybody who works at Repulse loves fantasy anime. We are huge fans of shows like Attack on Titan and Full Metal Alchemist. And we also like to play visual novels, especially the ones with erotic and lesbian content.

When we finished our last game, we asked ourselves: What if we could combine the elements we love most about anime and visual novels in an interactive VR experience that you could also play without VR. And that is exactly what Iragon is about.

You play the game as Darick, a poor kid from a small village. Everything for him changes when he meets a bisexual girl who gets ambushed by soldiers of the Empire. To help her, you must learn to use your magic, but on your quest to bring her home safe, you will have to journey into a dangerous frozen world. Along the way, you will battle enemy soldiers, undead skeletons, and perhaps cross paths with seductive creatures of the frozen land while you unlock new erotic adventures with her.

So this is ultimately a game about living out a high fantasy adventure, with a strong emphasis on putting the player in control. The game is meant to be experienced in VR, but we dedicated an equal amount of care to deliver a standard version that will work for players who do not have a VR headset.

4.8/10 Before I begin this review, I feel I must note (as others have before), that this game was originally advertised as an adult adventure game with heavy sexual content, in which you could have fully uncensored sex with multiple girls, in multiple positions, and in various outfits and states of undressed, including fully nude. In addition, the funds for this game's development where raised under the promises of that premises, via fan donations to their Kickstarter campaign. As such, they not only advertised this content, but were paid in advance for it. As the game neared its release, however, they changed tracks, stating they wanted to focus on a deeper story, with significantly less explicit adult content. Despite the heavy fan backlash, they stated this new direction was final, and have refused to add the initially promised adult features post release. Regardless on how you may feel about adult content in games, I find this bait and switch to be extremely dishonest, if not fraudulent, and that will reflect in the tone and score of my review. Furthermore, as hentai games are generally weaker in plot, they usually have a lower bar of acceptance for what is considered a passabl…

Good game. Combat feels nice and the overall looks are nostalgic and beatiful. There is supposed to be erotic content but other than some 20sec long story scenes, there aren't any good scenes at all. They could have easily made some really good NSWF scenes but they didn't. At the end i think this game is worth it buying for the ganeplay.

I want to like playing this game but it makes me sick so I can't get any real playtime... I've tried different settings and nothing changed The clashing of the anime faces and a world that doesn't look remotely anime is totally gross to look at (maybe its not motion sickness, maybe it just looks THAT bad?!) It goes on sale for cheap enough but the retail is too high for me to recommend - it feels scammy to sell a game for $2 hoping for positive reviews to get you $30 sales.

Saying this game is bad is like saying feces are not particulary tasty... technially true. I payed one or two dollars for it and still feel ripped off.

OLD REVIEW FOLLOWS : Almost midpoint redoing it in VR, and already it's gained at least back to 6/10 for me. For one, some of the maps are entirely new when choosing a new paths (new characther / spark). None of the cutscene POVs were fixed, but the monster Girl Gallery is PLAYABLE in VR, not just a repeat of the same movie! (Which is great, because some of the scenes during the game throw you under the bed and out of the atmopsphere.) Arachne still loses her features for her scene, but you can at least play with her while she has it. And VR let you close up. But... really, the maps are majestic! And the stories being different covers and fix for a lot for the initial reaction of getting the impression it was cut with a chainsaw. To be fair, that might be only Erika's part, since the Lexi's storyline so far really feels more fleshed out. Don't know yet if it branch back to the same ending, but it seems like that variability might be the real richness of the game. Also, so far it seems like the magic tutorial bug was fixed; so at least there is that. But the same can't be said for the first tutorial... since you can't register the parry for some weird reason. (The sword is perf…
