In the top 3 worst feeling platformers I have ever played (out of now 100+ easily), and for how precise the game is, there's no excuse for the game to feel this bad to play. The game is trying to be super meat boy, and has none of the innovation, zero charm, and feels way worse to play. There is basically no reason to buy this, even if you enjoy precision platformers.5 found this helpful
Quick Score: 4/5 Notes: Overall a great super meay boy style platformer. Extremely challenging speedrun times. Movement is a bit "heavy" at first but you get used to it and is generally very similar to SMB but with some extra mechanics in the form of a grapple, jetpack, and "phase" ability. There is lack of visual diversity which is unfortunate, would have been nice to see a bit more variety. There aren't multiple worlds with different aesthetics. You pretty much just have the Grey normal levels and the White hard levels. There is also kind of a weird speed bug/glitch where when you die while in the air either manually by resetting or to a hazard, you will retain your momentum when you respawn. I'm not entirely sure if this is intended or not because while it feels like a bug, some of the early par times I'm pretty sure are 100% impossible if you don't use this trick so I'm not entirely sure. It's a bit annoying at first, but luckily, while the par times still remain pretty tight throughout the game, aside from a handful of stages this glitch isn't required to hit the par time. Though it does help a bit and generally will save about 0.25ish seconds though it depends on the stage…5 found this helpful
This game deserves more attention, just like Lantern Bearer. Mechanics are on point and level design is actually varied, the mechanic on which you have to focus varies regularly and brings some fresh air. I find the music pretty good aswell. Worth your money and time!
This game feels really laggy, even on my gaming PC. Not really a huge fan of this one in general.
Good.
Great game! Awesome vibes
