"July" is a side-scrolling game similar to Metroidvania. Players will play the role of July to carry out a journey through the levels.
The game will have many levels and monsters waiting for players to challenge, each level has its own unique place waiting for players to challenge.
Players will gain different skill badges in the journey to enhance their strength and challenge more and more difficult monsters.

Soul game, operation and difficulty. Every big level is different and so are the bosses. The game is about 20 hours long. The fire blade can use the poisonous smoke to increase the air control time, and the explosion can also bring more damage to the enemy
Electricity can also ignite flames

Would it be different if the time came back?
Try again and again, what will happen.
It may be lucky to start over.
It's a lonely journey to reboot the world.

do you remember important people
Clean up the remaining thoughts in the world and start over
Human war machines are extremely efficient
A far cry from what I consider a finished game
七月 - July… It has pretty decent visuals, and reSet7, the developer, knows how to write some banger boss-fight soundtrack. However, playing it was not a fun experience. Everything starts out okay, but as you dive deeper into the game, you’ll find several issues that'll quickly turn that smile upside down.
Now, about the game
In a nutshell, the reasons I’m not particularly fond of 七月 - July are these:

Next to no clue to what is going on with the narrative
Low audio configuration with no way to reconfigure
Unpolished controls resulting in a godawful gameplay experience
English translation is messed up, along with typos here and there
It feels like the game was designed to screw you over

It began with a simple “question: do you like flowers?”
You play as a Nameless sailing to a mysterious land. As you set foot on the land, you’ll find yourself in the presence of a cryptic person. He wants to know only one thing from you; whether you like flowers or not. Then he starts explaining the gameplay mechanics, and that’s it – I’m not joking. Armed w…

Challenging but enjoyable. Hope it would have key re-bindings. [2DACT]歯ごたえ有探索型
For other game reviews, please follow us at What The Game?
July is a 2D platformer built on the Unity engine. It appears to have been developed by an Asian developer/studio and the game is billed as a horizontal version of Castlevania. July features a large number of levels and uses fairly well made graphic and effects. Unfortunately, the developer(s) of July threw common convention out the windows and ignored functions that most players take for granted. As such, July maybe be difficult to play for some people without configuring or disabling joysticks and similar analog controllers to make July work. July supports several languages; however, the translations are likely direct for all language other than the source language of the developers. For example, most players would expect "Quit" or "Exit" to leave the game; in July this is called "Out". "Configuration" or "Options" is called "set". Speaking of options, there really aren't any. The language can be set, and there are a few instructional blurbs that can be displayed. There are no graphics or sound options. None of the controls can be remapped and this…

Totally a game that needs a lot of polishing. The visuals are nice and the music is there. But hey, it's only a dollar! I don't mind if the price goes up if the developer puts more effort into improving the game. For now, the game just feels like a frustration platforming game instead of metrovania/action-adventure.
