After finishing this game here's my review. I already played this game before so I could easily get a refund but I won't because I want to show that anyone can beat this game. The game is a parody of old school games in the past and it's nothing to take seriously. The game is really fun giving you choices everytime you level up. It does have a story but I won't spoil since that's up to players to find out what happens in it. Lets just say you aren't missing much. You can get it with a bundle on sales so it's best to get that while it happens. The gameplay is very generic and has enemies that are pretty original when it comes to concepts. Some you can tell just wanted people to just beat the game like flying lab coats as enemies to fight. The music is nice to listen to especially the boss fight music which is smashing. There is a Resident Evil 4 refrerence which should be easy to find. If you want this game get it when its on sale. If you want a quick game to play and finish get this game. I hope my review makes you think twice about getting the game. Have a good day.1 found this helpful
It's enjoyable for what it is: an extremely linear, quick homage/parody to NES JRPGs. It lightens the grinding, gets straight to the point, and has a little humor along the way. I enjoyed the 4th wall breaks, but it's nowhere near as good as its followup, Cthulhu Saves the World. Good for the money (it's frequently on sale for under a dollar).1 found this helpful
A short and fun parody of older turn-based RPGs while still managing to have fun and interesting gameplay. Cheap by default and even cheaper when on sale, It's well worth picking up.
played about 8 minutes 8 years ago and figured I might play the rest of it BUT it doesn't really work with modern computers. To make it even run you have to enable some legacy media features and even then from what I read in the discussions, it seems like it doesn't work that well once it's running. No idea if it's good or not since I obviously didn't play it but probably not a great 2026 purchase. Either way, I'm calling this one a loss. Also the review section in the description (not the steam reviews but the "professional"(?) reviews in the actually description itself) are bull s h i t. Like one of them says the game is worth 60$. 60 f u c k i n g dollars? GTFO of here!
