It's not a metroidvania. English isn't available for the items. It's a souls-like in that the controls and enemies make the game hard in a janky sort of way. Also, no native gamepad support. It's free, but not worth your time.10 found this helpful
First of all, I must say right away that this game has nothing to do with metroidvania, from the word at all. It's just a mix of 2d platformer and fighting game. So don't rely on tags. Secondly, I also have a question: "Did anyone test this game at all before the release?" There are just millions of bugs in it. Almost any problem leads to the fact that you start the game all over again.: - The second boss is a spider. With a 90% chance, he flies out of the left border of the screen and never returns. After that, the game freezes. Start over. - With a small chance, after entering the portal, your game crashes. Just for no reason. Start over. - Sudden death of the main character (apparently against the background of other bugs, NPC freezes, assistants, artifacts, which led to this case). You'll have to start over, too. Mobs are as passive as possible, not interesting. They do not have a target set for the main character, they live on their own, they can attack in the other direction, use attacks when the player is out of range. At the same time, the difficulty increases dramatically due to the boost in enemy characteristics. The game logic of mobs is violated: The shield-bear…4 found this helpful
Endless 2D-action battle arena where monsters spawn, you spam them with your attack button, collect leftover mana or souls or whatever the in-game currency is called, then go to the next arena that looks exactly like the one you just left. Repeat ad nauseam. Not sure why this got the metroidvania tag, this isn't even close at all, though the game description makes no allusion to it, so the dev is clearly not at fault for this. This is overall rather janky, has a nonsensical button layout, the gameplay is kinda pointless, and overall it's also not entertaining. Even for free, it's not worth your time.
i tried it for two times, and it was bad. one with controller and one with keyboard. they were bad. not fun, amusing, nothing. sorry dev, but keep trying
This game is not even worth being free. The achievements don't work so you have to SAM them, the gameplay is extremely sluggish and boring, the game is barely in English if the text even got translated, and according to other people who have played the game, almost every asset is stolen from somewhere else.
overall I could see it being interesting but there are many problems that make the player not able to do much of anything. for one got to the second boss and bro went offscreen dissapeared and then my game froze but even just gameplay wise its clanky as your stanima regens so slow that one dodge roll cost like 30 seconds of regen so dodging attacks isn't really any fun especially since the attacks I've seen so far are super useless as the projectiles just never hit and the jumps are really far just making me chase down the enemies so I can finish the room. the controlls kinda suck because why in the world is u the jump button and w lets you fire a ranged attack? who decided on this while leaving space doing absolutely nothing??? there is an enemy attack that feels how you might want to design it (that being the crows attack) where it has a little warning and then rushes you in way which you could get hit but because of all the other enimies being useless it just amount to having to click a button with no thought to dodging. overall most of the game amount to not doing anything but running around and slashing which it wasn't really built to make that fun its meant to be somethin…
