It's an ok game, I don't really feel like giving a negative review. That being said, below are the massive amount of negatives. -60fps cap and screen tearing -Sad sfx -Credits that dissapear before you can grab them and dont flash before they disappear -you switch guns with spacebar -you cant press escape and go into options when in the character select room -Every action you take you have to guess what to do -The ground is secretly ice -Has a giant item window which you will never fill up, and impedes viewing space which could be saved if it were a sidebar -Doesn't have replayability -imagine playing this game fullscreen when... you cant disable the massive screenshake -The teaser for this game is gameplay from the best looking stage without any music -The only playstyle benefitting from the upgrade choices is shotgun and laser -No autofire -No bullet time -No music anywhere -The fire sound effect in the main menu only plays once and doesnt loop so you are left sitting there in existential dread -Exploration is not rewarding enough -Shooting with any gun shakes the camera to the point where you cant see enemies that blend in to their surroundings -bad pixel size and density of ui …

Well, Nuclear Throne it is not (and it is clearly very, very strongly inspired by Nuclear Throne), but I like the vision on display here, plus more Nuclear Throne is always a good thing. Okay, enough about Nuclear Throne. Some of the issues highlighted by the first reviewer in November 2021 have already been fixed: the obnoxious screen shake can now be toggled off, the character movement seems less floaty, there has been a soundtrack added, and so on. There is still plenty to improve here. My suggestions would be to + focus a bit more on some organic storytelling, because currently all the context we've got is the store page blurb + add a bit of oomph to the sfx, as they are lacking + a quick restart option would be very appreciated, as going through the character selection screen every time you die is super tedious + not a fan of the crafting system, imo it slows down the runs severely + it is sometimes hard to distinguish between enemies and background, as the graphics tend to be a bit murky Adding more features (weapons, characters) would be cool, too, but for the time being I feel it's best to focus more on the basics and the overall polish.
