Wanted to like this as it's a dkc clone but its way too difficult. It's about memorizing dozens of things that can kill you instead of good platforming. Too many auto scrolling levels that give you an incredibly small window before instant death. And I'm playing this game on casual- yeah right it's anything but. Play Marsuplami instead it's WAY better.1 found this helpful
Its nice, relaxing and frustrating all at the same time... The game principle is alot like donkey kong country. you run, evade (don't forget that part), jump on heads, shoot, fly and collect. I like that you can choose if you want to do the time mode and the reward if the do a level without getting hit. good game!1 found this helpful
If you like 2D platformers, especially ones that are similar to DKC, you will love this.1 found this helpful
Heavy influence from donkey Kong country. I appreciate the casual difficulty mode.
Very solid Donkey Kong Country-like game. I 100% in about 5 hours. I found the later levels challenging but fair. Each standard level has a KONG letter equivalent, 100ish gems, and two secret portals with bonus challenges. If you beat the bonus challenge you don't have to redo it each time you die in the normal level, which I really appreciated. Bosses were reasonable but they've never been my favorite part of these types of games. Story is essentially non-existent, but I didn't mind that at all.
I haven't played this game much but it reminds me of Donkey Kong Country, and that's good in my books. I was thinking of getting a physical copy of the game but it got snagged. If you like platformers like me, you gotta check this game out, especially when it goes on sale.
