I love this game but why is the mysterious key missing in the new beta “ daybreak “ version?

Almost perfect ps2 throwback style survival horror. It's like a cross between resident evil and parasite eve and it works pretty well. The level designs, combat, story, and main character I feel were all done great. There are a lot of costumes, challenges, and a bonus dungeon as well that makes you actually want to play it again. I had way more fun playing Wicked Seed then I did from playing Silent Hill F or Resident Evil 9.

Perfect blend of retro aesthetic with modern rpg elements! Loving how the story has played out among the creature-feature backdrop! Ill take more, please.

Wicked Seed is a pretty atypical survival horror game, defining itself primarily with the Parasite Eve-inspired combat style which is interspersed on top of a blocking/parry system. This forces you to learn and adapt to the moveset and gimmick of each enemy, of which there are a pretty generous amount! Although, the movesets aren't particularly complicated, and usually boil down to just one or two single attack animations that they can do. Still, this kind of system (at least in my experience) isn't seen very often in many of the survival horror games of this era, and stays pretty enjoyable for the reasonable runtime of the game. I was quite impressed to find that the game was made almost entirely by a single developer, alongside also I believe his wife(?), and a couple of voice actors. The game can certainly feel a little on-budget at times - only a few character models are ever seen, the music tracks can feel a little vacant (although there's this one track in an endgame area that's just a piano, and the tempo is paced perfectly to the character's running animation steps, and I just thought that was neat...), and in general there is just a bit of jank that you'll run into throug…

For those thinking this is some cheap cash-grab adult game, you're quite wrong. Now, I am merely at the beginning, at Chapter two, but, I did not in the slightest had any idea how charming this game is. I bought and tried this, with my line of thoughts being 'yeah, this might be a refund' and 'welp, let's see how this turns out' — and let me tell ya, this game is legit far too good(and CHEAP) for what it offers. Perhaps the most interesting thing about this game is it's combat system; it's essentially a regular third-person shooter of the genre(like RE) that fused itself together with Fallout's V.A.T.S. in such a pleasing way that I am already accustomed to it. There's directional damage, weaknesses, blocking AND parrying(no, unfortunately not in a Sekiro fashion but hey, it's legit kinda dope) — and, as far as I have seen, you technically have unlimited ammo(?), like it resets after an encounter has finished(no idea if this is spoiler worthy or not, since I legit don't know if I am just blind or not). The enemies so far are quite unique I think, and while still being at the beginning of the game, I already have seen creatures that make me want to take off my non-existent glas…
