About Kerfuffight
Have you ever had the urge to fight a friend? In Kerfuffight, you'll soon be able to teach your friends a lesson! Up to 4 players will be able to fight each other across 3 different biomes, each with their unique stages and distinctive weapons. Biomes are more than just visually different, they all have a special mechanical identity. From long-range battles to close range encounters, all bring their own niche to the table in their own way.
Want to customize your gameplay experience further? Choose the game mode that better suits your needs. Fight for the highest score, be the last one standing, try to win over multiple rounds, etc...
None of your friends are available? No problem! You can play against AI opponents in any game mode. If you want something a bit more challenging, you can also try to complete Kerfuffight’s solo challenges where one player can attempt to fight a horde of AI opponents, survive for a set amount of time or win the highest amount of rounds!
Be it when playing in versus or when completing challenges, you can customize your character to your liking by picking the face, color and hat of your choice. Players also have the possibility to unlock more customization by simply playing the game. The unlock menu will let players know what’s next and help them set goals toward the next customization they can obtain.
It's Just Fun
Would you rather watch than read? Me too. Check out the highlights of the gameplay here: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=jROOqZqReak You know, a lot of games try to be super deep and complex with all of their systems layered on top of each other, or a skill tree that spans 100 pages (PoE I'm looking at you), but now and again it's just nice to play a simple game. Spawn 4 players in, drop weapons, murder everyone. It's a really simple concept with simple controls. You can move around, jump, dodge and attack. That's basically it. The fun of the game is what you and your buddies make from it. The levels are fun. There are hazards and pitfalls, suits of armor with swords that will try to kill you. Multiple times I got killed by what I can only describe as a sea urchin made of swords and axes. It's just insane fun. You CAN play single player and play by yourself but I don't think it's anywhere near as fun as if you had 3 drunk friends all playing together. Is this going to be the most deep, consuming 100 hours of your life game? No. It's not. Is it fun and to the point, easy to pick up and addictive? Yes. Sometimes that's all you need. I have 0.3 hours on record with this game. We played it one time and then we were done with it. It's cute, but again... my group will NEVER play this game again. That said, it's not the worst couch combat game I've played, so it gets a weak YES.. but again.. 0.3 hours of gameplay. That is what you are paying for.
Fun multiplayer game, it has a lot of levels to play in... loved the soundtrack pretty irish scotist musics.
