The story about a little mouse

Key Fairy is a unique game in its own way. The gameplay is very simple, and I expected the game to require precise movement from me, similar to Celeste or Super Meat Boy, but this game surprised me with how easy it was. I liked the visuals a lot, and the main character design is really cool and memorable. The gameplay is fun, the dialogues are... well... interesting?, and overall the game is really awesome, but... A few issues (at least for me):

The game is too easy for this kind of game. I don't want to be that guy who only seeks hardcore challenges in games, but this game really needs a bit more difficulty. The final boss took me 1 try, and most enemies took me only 1–2 tries. I would like to use my dash and spool to their limits. For example, put a boss with more HP in a fully thorn-covered arena, and suddenly the fight becomes much more interesting. Difficulty is not always a bad thing, sometimes it's exactly what a game needs.
If you can't find some secrets, nobody will really nudge you in the right direction. (not that big of an issue, but it was a serious issue …3 found this helpful
Neat, fun gameplay loop and delightfully schizophrenic. Bit of a steep pricetag for its length though.1 found this helpful
lush and mysterious, deftly dancing with enemies, and full of evocative writing that so efficiently drew me in to the depths of the forest. quiet until it's howling at the moon1 found this helpful
Really well-polished game with interesting depth and challenge, and deep thought implementing a lot of accessibility/assistance options. The movement in this game feels incredible, and the illustration, writing and music and sound design are really beautifully done. The story feels heartfelt and intentional, and there's a lot of secrets and paths to go down.
I don't usually buy games I randomly happen to see on steam store page. This game was the exception, because of its unique style, music, atmosphere. And I'm so happy I did. It feels nice to play. To zip around the whimsical fairy tale forest. Talking to weird and funny creatures (who sometimes don't even know who they are). It's expensive, yeah. But a unique and interesting experience. I am, however, stuck trying to get the last key ancient key (
I gave orb and a stone to crows, but they don't say what else they want, and I feel like I talked to all NPCs 3 times over
), and the game's attempt at help are.. not enough for me to figure it out =(
A beautiful, weird, charming experience with fun movement, whimsical writing, and a world I want to condense into liquid and inject straight into my veins.
