What Steam players say
Recent verbatim reviews from Steam — separate from playze.io community reviews below.
Players appreciate the game's atmosphere, visuals, and point-based mechanics, with most praising the effort evident in the solo developer's work. However, significant complaints center on technical issues like bugs and glitches that disrupt gameplay, unclear weapon selection systems, balance problems in certain waves, and frustrating enemy AI that allows creatures to phase through walls. While the game offers decent fun and an engaging survival experience, the technical problems and length relative to content may frustrate players seeking a polished experience.
For a quick overview, its decent fun to do real quick though it has flaws. for more in depth here it is The points system feels nice and is kinda fun, my #1 gripe is wave 3 with the darkness, maybe announce the darkness or have a fuze the player can fix or something like that, other than that maybe re arrange the guns or make it more obvious which numbers corrospond to which weapon, also maybe 5$ instead of 10. other than that guns are fun and i love the point system, the continue part is pretty good considering it was made by 1 person. ultimitly i would reccomend it4 found this helpful
Full Play through here through the bugs and the glitches we somehow beat it (once it uploads): https://youtu.be/OPWhUpFzJzk Honestly for a sole developer it's good, it has a ton of redundant bugs/glitches that really wear on the player and it's insanely long for the amount of content. So warning if you're not looking for a game that can potentially be frustrating you may want to steer clear. You can definitely see the effort the creator put into the game the MAP IS HUGE. When you first start playing the deer god alien creature is pretty freaky and it plays pretty smooth. Bugs I ran into off the top of my head game crashed, deer god/zombies love to walk through walls and ♥♥♥♥ which is annoying when the deer god charges through the walls to stick it in you, if you die it tries to start you back at the start instead of the zone you got to to remedy this you have to go to main menu and continue instead of letting it start you all the way over IF you do that though you will lose all your points and a substantial amount of your upgrades+redoing the zone, lead pipe sometimes isn't accurate at all I've had it go through the zombie closest and hit 3 zombies back from my character, Zombies m…1 found this helpful
Well done game and challenging. I jumped quite a bit!
Visually the game is very nice. The environments and enemies look well done. The music and atmosphere definitely give it a scary quality. It puts an instant feeling of dread and survival on you right away. The point system is good and the weapons are well designed, but I was unable to hit much with the pistol. I would suggest making the hit box a little larger. Also there is a heavy blurring effect while moving. Maybe lowering that would help accuracy and movement around the map. I was brought to this game by my friend Poni because I play various games and overall I thought it was well put together.
