Kowloon's Curse: Lost Report

More like this please. Honestly probably the most fun i've had with a game all year and I usually don't even like games that have this little gameplay.

I would like to applaud this game in it's use of color and wacky character design, I still don't know if the world is that f'ed up and people actually look like that or if Tony is a high functioning schizophrenic. The story kind of follows that idea as well, like it's just kinda insane stuff happening all around the city this game takes place in. I highly enjoyed my time with all of the side quests and messing around and interacting with the world, but the story itself and the actual turn based gameplay definitely wasn't anything to write home about. I do recommend this game, especially to those who enjoy smaller, surreal games and are able to enjoy a game for it's experience and vibes, but I also understand this would be a hard sell for most people because nothing about the gameplay itself was even above average. Play if you like wack stuff.

Well that was a quirky dungeon crawler. Is it a dungeon crawler? There's not really any dungeons... but there's a smoking cat. And smocaine. And internet mysteries. And nostalgia. Give it a shot!

For what it is its really cool but since it is just a standalone demo I can't feel super strongly about it. Huge amount of potential though and outside of combat I don't see too much that needs big improvement. Sergio however is one of the most hateable characters in a game I've played in a very long time, ♥♥♥♥ that guy

Not gonna lie I thought this game was not great in the first half but it's doing a thing and it kind of brings it around in the second half. I'd give it a light recommendation
