L30-P4RD

"L30-P4RD" is not how you spell Leopard. This is a (south) Korean twin stick arcade shooter. The graphics look a bit better than most in this genre, and there's some upgrades and minor progression, but it doesn't change the old and stale gameplay. The story involves a special force exploring planets for civilization. The player controls a character selecting abilities, using weaponry and armor, and completing dead simple missions on planets. No amount of window dressing, unfortunately, changes the fact that the core of the game is an old dead genre. There's no English translation for the game, but that's okay. The language of bad games is universal. The graphics in this game are passable, but could be better. And while it's vital for any game to have impressive visuals (gaming is a visual medium, after all), there's more to a game than just the graphics. To be worth a gamers time, the game must match top tier visuals with top tier gameplay, and that's not happening here. On the matter of pricing and value for gamers, most "free" games on Steam aren't really free. There's often nasty mobile app cash shops, or content locked behind DLC, or donations being requested, or …
