The Soviet–Japanese war of 1939
Play through 2 world war two singleplayer campaigns centered around the Battles of Khalkhin Gol between the Empire of Japan and the USSR.
Estimated play time: 20 hours per campaign.
Early access features only the battle for Lake Khasan campaign.
Master different weapons
Destroy enemies superior in number and in firepower by mastering suppressive fire, piercing rounds, explosions, fire barrages, and smokescreens.
Destructible environments
Anything can be destroyed and in the meantime can provide cover from grenade blasts and fire.
Vicious AI
Enemies will try their best to survive by avoiding line of fire, grenades and burning ground. Different behavior types must be expected.
Modding
New units, weapons and campaign can be created, using Lua scripting language.

Pros: -Solid controls -Difficult (if you like that) -Addictive gameplay (feels a little like hotline miami with the amount of enemies you have to process at once) -when you die you restart the mission Cons: -The trailer kind of tricked me a little because it seems like you are always in a big battle (you are at the start but when your ai dies which they always do you are alone until you get to a certain part of the map then you sometimes get reinforcements depending on the mission) it might change in late missions I'm not sure yet but right now it feels like you are Japanese Rambo -Ai.. so the ai is weird, it seems your friendly AI sucks while the enemy AI is a little too clever. It seems to know when you are out of ammo and also preemtively dodge your bullets (also something that ticks me off is that dogs dodge bullets) -The timings are a little off.. so the devs claim each mission will take you 2 hours+ minimum. it took me 50 minutes on the hardest difficulty to beat the first 2 missions. so yeah.. devs your game testers suck :P -melee hit boxes are weird. so like with the bayonet you need to be pressed right against someone to hit them and sometimes then it phases through them…6 found this helpful
