About DON'T SCREAM TOGETHER
BEFORE YOU BUY DON’T SCREAM TOGETHER is a very simple co-op jumpscare horror experience. There are no complex objectives, puzzles, story, or deep mechanics. If you want a more complex or traditional horror game, this is not that game.
Features
• Proximity chat
• 4-player online co-op (up to 12 in testing)
• Two modes: restart or return as the hunter
• Dynamic scares make every playthrough feel new
• 1990s found-footage style
• A short, silly horror experience with friends
WHAT YOU DO
You and your friends enter a huge, pitch black forest with camcorders in 1993. Your goal is simple: reach 8:00 AM without screaming or making a loud noise. As you wander through the forest, you search for batteries to keep your camcorders powered and look for symbols scattered throughout the area. Time only moves when you do, so you cannot stand still forever. The forest is filled with strange locations, hidden traps, and the occasional hunter.Features

1. Calibrate Your Microphone
Set it up in-game. It's not just tech setup; it defines your experience. A mere squeak or quiet gasp should be flagged as a scream, causing you to restart.2. Mind Your Voice
You can talk freely using proximity chat, but keep it quiet and controlled. If anyone speaks too loudly, everyone pays the price.3. Play Fair
You can try to bypass calibration and shout through scares, but it removes the point. The fun comes from trying to stay calm while your friends absolutely do not. What Steam players say

game is pretty fun with friends, especially with all the jump scares and intensive anticipation. I'd definitely recommend this for people trying to add a game to play semi constantly.1 found this helpful
TikTok hyped the game up wayyyyyyy too much. Good scenery and eeriness, but the actual jump scares are actually terrible. They look like greenscreen jump scares, and they hardly even ever scared me. Plus, the games can't go full screen, leaving the black boxes around ur screen, so u don't feel very immersed. Also the directions aren't very helpful so ur just kinda left wandering around wouldnt buy ts.
Alright lets start, just to give a brief rating before i rant, its a 2/10. First, the jumpscares, some are good, some are ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ greenscreened 2d garbage, like I actually died from laughing at it because the game was so bad, and the Mic picked up a loud sound. second, the task aren't clear and the map does not guide you properly at all, 59 minutes of walking sim is prob the best way to describe this. third, can't full screen and stuck in the ♥♥♥♥♥♥ aspect ratio. fourth, Can't bind the flashlight turn off to something and it's on 24/7 unless you hold F, which of course drains your battery (which are pretty easy to find, i'll give them that) lastly, ive never seen a game that keeps the flashlight on 24/7 instead of keeping it off without a bind?!>?!?!
With the right group of people, it for sure can be scary and funny
