SLIGHTY OVERPRICED

Last Stop Horror Hospital is a surprisingly chaotic horror game that I found more interesting once I realized it was not going to follow the usual formula. I enter a modern hospital that was originally an asylum, and I have to escape while dealing with a strange threat involving Mr. Giggles and hostile investigators. I liked the setting because abandoned medical facilities already have a naturally uncomfortable atmosphere, and the game makes good use of that. The gameplay mixes exploration, survival and some strategy. I have to search the hospital, pay attention to my surroundings and make use of objects in the environment rather than simply running from room to room. I enjoyed this because it gives me more control over how I approach dangerous situations. There are moments where thinking about what I can use around me is more important than simply reacting. The investigator enemies add another layer to the experience. They are not just mindless monsters wandering around, so I have to be more careful about when I move and where I go. This game is actually a horrifying story about Alcoholism. The player is experiencing delirium tremens inside of a hospital, trying to leave, while having delusions of the nurses and doctors being bad. It was so horrifying that the first time i tried to play it it actually crashed because of how scary it is. scary
