I'll preface by saying that this is probably my favorite LEGO video game of all time. I've spent countless hours playing it on the Wii when I was a kid, and the nostalgia of it brought me to buying the game on Steam for me to enjoy on PC. That being said, I can't recommend anyone purchase this amazing game for the simple fact that there is a risk of the game not launcing at all on your system. I fire the .exe but I can't even get the game's window to pop up. The .exe just stops running and the Play button goes from a blue "Running" back to a green "Play". I've sent a bug report to TT Games through their official Discord, but the conversation I've had with their representative was not promising, saying that they'll take the bug report into account, but they can't guarantee a fix will come. I've been trying to get this game to run for many years, from one PC to a newer one, and this bug will simply not go away. The GOG release of this game, on the other hand, runs flawlessly without issues. I recommend you go purchase a copy of the game on their platform instead if you don't want to risk having to go through the troubles I went through. I hope TT reads this and does something abo…

i love it
So. If you're like me and won't pay 70+ for a new lesser quality lego game, this is a steal and is better than the new 2026 game. BUT it's the traditional lego style of comedy and gameplay. All of the camera angles suck ♥♥♥♥, the standard controls (on keyboard) eat ass, and the game is basically required to be completed twice. Let alone with the added effect of I SAVED at the mid level console, got the garauntee that it did, and quit in the middle of ch4 right after scarecrow reveals himself in the level. I start the game back up and I'm met with the biggest ♥♥♥♥ you in lego I've ever seen, and I attempted to play the hobbit and lotr series games, so holy hell. Not terrible for a 14 year old game, and better than the new price gouging. Get the trilogy on sale, it's worth it at the discount.
