Upgrades are game-enhancing features that allow you to improve your gameplay experience. As you progress through the game, unlock and purchase kitchen appliance upgrades to become the ultimate chef and conquer increasingly complex culinary adventures.
From a wide collection of Polish dishes such as bigos, pierogi, and kopytka, through Japanese cuisines like sushi, gyoza, and udon, to Italian master recipes like pizza, bruschetta, and lasagne, players will be able to learn a diverse selection of menus from around the world. A few hundred years into the future, the World is under the rule of Nutri-Inc - a seemingly evil megacorporation.
Nutri-Inc promotes a #ZeroWasteMoreThanTaste way of life. Normal, unprocessed food is claimed to be toxic and people are forced to eat only Nutri-Paste: a tasteless homogenic paste made out of all edible ingredients (including tree bark, weeds and stems). Growing or preparing your own food is forbidden and all knowledge of cooking techniques has been lost. Tasteless lives make people apathetic, ambitionless and generally dumb. Technology is at a standstill. The Resistance, led by General Ohm and formed of people who were taste-awoken, fights a losing battle. That is until they construct a device that allows them to re-discover the recipes of the old world…

I spent countless hours playing the first game. It was simple, straightforward, and—most importantly—fun. You jumped in, cooked, laughed, and got hooked trying to improve. The progression? As satisfying as a perfectly reduced sauce. And then came the sequel. With a story. A story that, somewhere in some office, someone must have thought would add depth… but ends up being boring and oddly depressing for a cooking game. Bravo. The level design? A whole other show. Most stages feel like they were created by someone with a personal vendetta against players. Repetitive, long, confusing, or just plain absurd. Every now and then, you stumble upon a decent level—like finding a mushroom in the middle of a desert. I came in hungry for more. I wanted to enjoy it, I wanted to recommend it. But all I got was a slower, uglier, and less fun version of the game I once loved. What a shame. This isn’t a sequel—it’s a poorly cooked recipe: too many random ingredients, no flavor, and to top it off, the dessert burns at the end.7 found this helpful
I like this game, but the overall fun factor is a big step down from the first game so I have to give it a thumbs down overall. The fist game was prefect, just needed more gameplay content. This game adds a lot that is a complete waste of time and effort, like the plot. 99% of people are going to skip it because it's super boring and adds nothing to the game. The levels are all over the place, and visually it's very difficult to distinguish what is a wall or not sometimes. It becomes more frustrating than fun, not the kind of chaotic gameplay that adds to the fun since it's just confusing level design that's slowing things down. It lacks the kind of synchronized co-op cohesion that made the first game so fun because the levels are just too convoluted. Overall it's not a bad game, but when a sequel comes out that's a significant step backwards from the first game it needs to be pointed out. I would love to see a third game that was more like the first one just with more levels/content but not all this extra crap and obnoxious level designs. If the first game is a 10/10, this game is a 7/10.4 found this helpful

This is a really fun game, if you like other cooking games, this one is similar but a bit easier for the casual gamer
I think this game is creative and cool. But unfortunately it doesn't allow me to log in as 'multiplayer' using Xbox controllers locally, anybody facing this issue?? And it still has glitches and bugs in, plsss fix it!!
once again great couch coop now with 4 people and crazy lore lol
