About Mesmalie
Story
You wake up to a fire in the middle of the night. This was probably caused by your Magick, which you have very little control over...To tame this ability, you decide to take matters into your own hand, and end up at a small witches' coven- a decrepit house in the middle of nowhere. Mesmer, one of these witches, greets you at the door, and thus your Magickal training commences,,,,,, though, not without a few bumps along the road.Features
- A handcrafted point & click narrative with branching dialogue and impactful choices
- Three "sessions" with distinct gameplay styles to train your magickal ability
- Many interactable objects to practice your Magick on
- A convenient chapter select system, allowing you to hop into any desired story beat
- Ending variations for abandoning the story in the middle
- An enchanting original soundtrack
- Secrets! Lots of them...

I got recommended this game by a friend but immediately got hooked on it. As this game is fairly recently out, it was kind of exciting yet frustrating trying to aim for getting all the achievements as there have not been a lot of full in-detail game walkthroughs and story route guides out there. However, honestly, seeing as this is the firs time this has happened when playing a game I'm glad for two things: one, I got to experience this game without the influence of other peoples opinions and two, I got to have an honest and fair chance at all the story-route endings and achievements. The game art is very unique and honestly reminds me a bit of Madoka Magica, the anime, as it also utilizes a mix of media such as pixel art with an element of realism like for the glass bottles. The story was overall, very interesting as well I enjoyed the interesting variety of gameplay. This game is honestly right up my alley with the visual novel pixel art style. If it were to remind me of any game, I'd have to say Undertale/Deltarune franchise, just based off the pixel art style and actual gameplay for the boss fight. *Came back to edit this because I can't believe I almost forgot to comment on …
A fantastic game with a fantastic vibe and artstyle
Mesmerizing!! A short game with just so much charm oozing out of it,, along with some,,, other... fluids. Ah, needn't dwell on it. Just play it.
Gave me crippling depression. 10/10
I first played Undertale when it released almost 11 years ago and I remember thinking "This is something really special" when I completed it. I felt the same upon completing Mesmalie. If you're a fan of humor, mystery, sudden switch-ups in gameplay mechanics, and heartfelt stories, you owe it to yourself to check this game out.
