Its great for what its intended to be. An educational game for kids. The artstyle is cute with calm yet still colourful world. Language barrier might made it a bit unenjoyable for some kids like my sibling, but they still love to walk around and click on everything to hear the birds singing, or the animals moving around. Also personally for me who loves learning about animals and plants, this is also quite fun. Maybe will play it later on my own to read everything more thoroughly when i have time.1 found this helpful
Works well on Steam Deck! I may not be kids or their parents, but this game was cute and I loved it. Great fun to play in a language you're learning to pick up a few new words and make it last longer!1 found this helpful
This is not really a typical game; it's more like an encyclopedia for kids. You steer a mouse and can discover certain animals and plants. Nevertheless: Some animals interact with the player figure. My advise is: If you have a kid that likes little games, buy this. The kid should either be able to read, or you should sit next to it. I'd say around 5-12 years, or depending on how much the kid loves nature. Then: Go outside with said kid and touch grass (or bark) and see if you can find one of those animals/plants yourself. For achievement hunters: The achievement for discovering all animals inside the forest is broken. Do all achievements except forest, then go out again and install the beta (under properties/betas) Might work, if you play just the beta. I didn't test it though.1 found this helpful
Wonderful cozy and relaxing informative game, if you like nature and cute animations get this one!! has some interesting animals and facts.
Surprisingly good game. Must be ideal for 7- to 12-year-olds. I’d say, also for adult achievement-hunters looking for an easy 100% score. Charming graphics and music. Rapid card-drop is a bonus, which you prob should sell because of inflated card prices in the market.
Little Mouse’s Encyclopedia is a calm, imaginative, and beautifully illustrated interactive journey through nature, created by Circus Atos as a blend of storybook charm and educational exploration. Rather than aiming for traditional gameplay with objectives, challenges, or progression systems, it instead invites players—especially young children and families—to wander through serene habitats while learning about the animals and plants that inhabit them. The experience is gentle from the very first moment: you guide a tiny mouse through four interconnected biomes, each depicted in a richly hand-drawn style reminiscent of classic children’s picture books. The game’s foundation rests on curiosity and discovery, making it an inviting digital space for early learners or anyone who enjoys relaxing, visually expressive environments. The art direction plays a central role in shaping the game’s identity. Every scene feels like a meticulously crafted illustration, filled with soft colors, playful character designs, and subtle animations that breathe life into each setting. Forests sway with light breeze, ponds ripple softly, and garden insects crawl or flutter in small, charming loops. Thes…
