really solid metroidvania, just wish it was longer :(1 found this helpful
This game is fun. I manage to finish in around 2 days. There's a lot of improvement. I still feel like the 1st game is bigger and more challenging and mre exploration though.
Loved it. It included everything that makes metroidvanias great for me. Highlight is the platforming. I've read somewhere that basti described this game as a metroidvania with Celeste inspired platforming and I can see where he's coming from. Took me about 16 hours to get 100% on normal difficulty.
An ok metroidvania worth the $10 I think I paid for it. Grade: C
I very much enjoyed LF1 and I really anticipated getting around to LF2. This game was a bit different from the first one but was completely enjoyable and charming from start to finish. There wasn’t a single moment of dislike throughout my 16+ hour playtime and towards the end I started going through some incomplete quests just to extend my time in this really enjoyable world. My thanks go out to developer Basti on yet another phenomenal game that I am glad I got to play.
Great game as always, don't be afraid of Hollow Knight, both Lone Fungus and Hoowlow Knight are insta buys in my book. Chef's Kiss once again! Keep making more!
